Deputy Chairman of the State Duma, member of the "UNITED RUSSIA" faction Olga Timofeeva held a meeting with the employees of the Nevinnomyssk Radiator Plant on May 14.
- The situation in the regions is under parliamentary control. At the local level we look at how
business develops, how it survives the pandemic, what obstacles exist. They have to be promptly
removed. Together with the employees, we discuss post-pandemic support. We see whether the
measures provided for single-industry towns, such as Nevinnomyssk, are sufficient. First of all, it is
important to save workplaces", - said Olga Timofeeva, Vice Speaker of the State Duma.
At present, there are 321 single-industry towns in Russia, and the chemical city of Nevinnomyssk
is among them. The economy of such municipalities is highly dependent on the activities of town-
forming enterprises. To improve the economic situation, the development of other spheres, small and medium businesses is required.
- For three years, the Territory of Advanced Socio-Economic Development (TSEED) with tax and
other benefits has been operating in Nevinnomyssk. A regional industrial park has been created. Next to large leading enterprises, such as "Azot" and "Arnest", new small companies are growing. Thanks to this new workplaces are created, investments are made, and the budget is replenished. Such policy has already paid off. This year Nevinnomyssk has a budget in surplus. But we need to sustain the situation in difficult conditions of the pandemic", says Olga Timofeeva, Vice Speaker of the State Duma.
Also at the meeting, Olga Viktorovna awarded the employees Nikitin Andrey and Safaraliev
Fizuli for their hard work and professionalism, personal contribution to the high quality of the
company's products.
